Tobii main partner to DreamHackathon
Tobii are world leaders and pioneering eye tracking technology which makes it possible for computers to know where on screen users are looking. Tobii’s EyeX development kit will be available for participants to use eye tracking as their tech of choice during the hackathon, Tobii’s dev team will be on site to support participants in developing their game. In addition the best hack with Tobii eye tracking enabled will be awarded a special prize by the judges.
With the Tobii EyeX development kit implementation of Tobii eye tracking in games and other software becomes very easy. The Tobii EyeX Controller is paired with the Tobii EyeX Engine, a unique and powerful middleware that provides a set of predefined functions, such as calibration, and user interactions, which combine eye tracking with other modalities such as keyboard and touchpad. This is a unique combination that makes it easy for developers to get started, allowing them to focus on the fun part of enhancing their game with eye tracking.
