Rule question

Hi there!

From the rules: "all code, design, art, music, SFX, and assets must be created during the duration of the Hackathon. "

Where do you draw the line for this? Can we use existing libraries and frameworks? Which ones? Can I open source my own codebase to github and then use it? (Pretty sure that's allowed in Ludum dare for example)
